La Luz Es Como El Agua
La luz es como el agua (Light is like water)
Installation based on the short story by Colombian writer Gabriel García Marquez, prominent for popularising magical realism. Light is like water is the tale of two children who discover that by breaking lightbulbs from the lamps in their house they can flood the place with light. They dive between the living room furniture and sail between the islands of the house when their parents are not home. Based on the metaphysical concept of 'magic' developed by Federico Campagna, the 'magical' in these scenes signal the existence of a dimension beyond the ones we perceive.
