The Other Man I Live With
Real recorded testimony guides a performance; one that reveals true tragedy is shaped by our emotional inarticulacy.

Through video and performance my practice seeks to explore the complex narrative structures presented within documentary form.
The expectation of an audience entering a documentary play/or film is to experience some form of truth, yet more often than not the truth is kept from the viewer by the editing process. The responsibility of the author is often to try to create something that reveals a stable question or point without being detrimental to the subjects involved, but the premise of film and theatre is a tool of entertainment.
A fact is only a fact if it is believable.
