Drapes and folds turn into printed illusion within a patchwork of abstract marks. Twists on traditional stitch and weave, 1950s intarsia cardigan exploded, abstracted by scale and flatness. Geometric patterns with interlocking stitches liberated from their original source. Victorian floral samplers, thick like carpet in autumnal tones of ochre that contrast with electric blues and burnt orange. These are all brought together to produce a collection of prints that empathise with feminine pastimes.
