MA work

My second year project focuses on the idea of acoustic and insulating wall panels using woven textile solutions.

My aim is to develop a fabric that is able to move in relation to heat and sound in a room and change the look and credentials of its surface.

I envision my samples as big scale pieces that would function in high-end hotels and restaurants to help stabalising temperature and noise.

To be able to create fabrics that can expand and contract, move and shape themselves, I am using elastics, wire, wool and woven pleats.
