To await what the stars will bring

To await what the stars will bring images the touchable yet unattainable nature of longing for him. Imaging his flesh and fluids, the microscopic is alongside the macroscopic. Playfulness is with darkness, as is not the essence of being human desire? And with desire comes contradictions, instabilities and fluidities. The 'galaxy' is of the Lamella; an indestructible and everlasting desire, yet it is an object of evocative nothingness. Is it not as sensitive and susceptible as falling into the darkness of the night?

    MA Photography, 2014

  • Playfulness with darkness, pleasure with pain, obscure with visible. Catch him, or be caught, before everything becomes black. Drawn to the ambient light of the full moon, I feel a transient sense of my gaze transcending; escaping briefly, before remerging with the darkness of the night.
