Departing from the examination of the human body as a medium of communication in both physical and virtual spaces, this project focuses mainly on the language of the skin. Human skin has its own vocabulary, which it uses to express the way it responds to external or internal stimuli. Its language is not always recognised, communicated or understood. My project looks for ways to translate this information into visual, tactile or sound representations of skin resistance controlled by mental or physical impact. Through the creation of these translation tools, I encourage interaction between people in order to develop awareness of this vocabulary.
