Christina Mamakos received her MA (oxon) in Sculpture from the Ruskin School of Fine Art at Oxford University, and her BA in Literature and Philosophy from Harvard University. She is currently a Leventis Scholar and an AHRC TECHNE funded PhD researcher in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London, and has shown work internationally with solo and group exhibitions in London, New York, Athens, Dubai, and Delhi. Her work is part of public collections internationally and she has participated in museum shows including the Chelsea Museum of Art, NY. Her research is an active part of her practice and she participates in conferences, publishes work, and currently teaches as visiting lecturer across London, Europe, and the US.
