I have always been intrigued by the ways the brain finds to remap the world when we lose a sense. What if we could reallocate our perception in design from vision to other senses, just like the brain does when we lose our sight?
This project investigates whether it is possible to design an object whose function and aesthetics are revealed through touch and sound. Unlike other design projects, instead of observing I started listening and feeling; through my experimental work I amplify the hidden qualities and emotional links between the user and the object.
