MA work
I am fascinated by the power of filmmaking as a means of controlling time. My work involves durational studies of micro and macro environments, to expose unseen shifts and changes that we would be unable to perceive without the manipulation of the edit.
By highlighting these multiple pasts, often within the same frame, I am documenting the perpetual passing of time, whilst tapping into what I see as a collective anxiety – to make the most of one’s life – something made vivid to me, not least, by the fast-disappearing two years of my studies at the RCA.
