Game of Life 2.0
China’s Social Credit System was introduced in 2014, now reaching its halfway point of mandatorily implementation by 2020. The system aims to distill five aspects of Chinese citizens' online and offline lives into a numerical score. This project transforms a complex, intangible system into a board game that is both functional and educational. While Western media often characterise the Chinese government as Orwellian, my project takes an alternative perspective through a series of short stop-motion animations, so that viewers can take their own position on the subject.
