Mixed print process on calico
With music as the stimulus, my work documents a visual story of emotion through expressive mark-making, using colour and specially developed print techniques to evoke mood and personal surface interaction. Each piece is bespoke to the target environment, with scale playing an important role in the development of these fully fire-retardant textiles for interior spaces, designed to be included as part of a buildings structure from the architectural stage of the construction process.
