I am sealed into a polymer sphere, crawling up walls reaching for momentum in the rush of thought to clamber all the way to the top. Sweating, rosy cheeked and nauseous from the exertion I realise I'm upside down and fall, I am sure dogged perseverance will out but I am so involved in this monotony that the memory of its origin and conclusion has dissipated. There must be something of mine in this bludey ball, something that I have ownership of, even if it is my own madness. My struggle is not madness but the impressing versatility of the task, and I know I will remain here turning in the same space within the same parameters, in the knowledge that I can neither win nor lose, and who could tell if I'd prefer one strain or the other would we be so deliciously happy if we reached our desired destination, answers flicker propelling themselves with us on their backs into possibility.
