Lewesian locals celebrate the raising of the new ‘Consultation Inn’, the most collaborative A-frame structure ever built and a riposte to the contemporary ills of consultation as peddled by the local authority and money-hungry property developers. The local media hype up how the moot process of consultation has been redesigned to take place on site, exploit the town’s rumourscape, and finally realise the dream of an elysian England.

Through the leaked ‘planning’ drawings, we assume a new rural myth may have been seeded as an armature for change in Lewes, a place where change is the second worst swear word, diversity being the first.
