The Aftermath, Caroline Tattersall
ClayThe Aftermath, Caroline Tattersall
Clay
The aftermath, that which happens after an event, is often determined by the stillness of an environment. There is the permanent (the fired ceramic object) and there is the vulnerable (the unfired clay object). It is through the revealing and juxtaposition of these two states of the material that I create situations that suggest a feeling of anticipation, the relieving of emotional tensions, the essence of catharsis.
