    Sculpture, 2013–

  • After twenty years in commercial architecture practice, Carol Mancke founded the art and architecture collaborative, Machina Loci Ltd. Carol studied at MIT, UC Berkeley, Central Saint Martins, the University of Osaka Prefecture and the Royal College of Art. She lectures in Architecture at Kingston University and has taught at the Nagaoka Institute of Design, UC Berkeley and the University of Western Australia.

    Carol's artwork has been exhibited in the UK and Australia. Her design project, Shedding House, and sound installation, Toge Time/Pass Time, were featured in the Echigo Tsumari Art Triennial (Japan 2006, 2009). Carol was artist in residence at the CIT in Perth Australia 2011-12.
