MA work
The vast concrete tundra - the place where the grid of the city unravels into the depopulated hinterland provides inspiration for my work. Through the cutting and reshaping of printed and found material my work provokes a consideration and dialogue with such spaces. The industrial and the weather-worn are transformed through the differing processes of my practice. Without recourse to the romantic and mimetic, I create images and objects that echo the tensions and conflicts of these spaces and their wider histories.
