It’s all about comforting the human body. Observations of all those little moments when our bodies interact with a manmade environment (such as tube stations, bus stations, asphalt, walls, etc.) became the driving inspiration behind my work. I used soft cushioning foam embedded into stretchy materials like wool- or very delicate, sheer Jersey & massive Velcro Fastenings to create a feeling of safety and comfort.

  • My work has always been inspired by photography, literature and sculpture, life in cities, video games.

I love the work of Michael Wolf, Andreas Gursky and Antony Gormley. It’s all about the body within space and its relation with the environment.

At the same time, I get excited by the roughness of cities and their structures and repetitive patterns. But it’s not all so serious. I love playing video games. Their aesthetics, sound, and stories can be so beautiful.
