An expert, a presenter and a popstar come to life through the avatar of the thespian. Characterisations of media personalities echo the homogenisation society demands of the individual.

Benji Jeffrey works with artifice, construct and reality within the context of the moving image. Through simulation and repetition he questions the presentation of self - being, appearing and the chasm between.
He refers to himself as an artist in the third person because he's not sure who the first person is.
