MA work

Platform 10

Having studied Fine Art at degree level, I have a tendency to consider objects as entities either displayed on walls or on the floor for contemplation. In my work I hope to create objects that give pause for thought for the person using them, to turn everyday activities like hanging your coat up or sitting at a table into philosophical moments. I am always impressed by clever, efficient design but more interested in objects that have details and proportions that owe as much to aesthetics as they do to intelligence.
