Problem solving is what gives me a buzz; a simple answer to a complex brief. There’s no right or wrong way to go about it. You can arrive at a solution in five minutes or five days. The creative process is never formulaic. My approach is functional simplicity with a dash of wit. I like design that surprises and raises expectations rather than pandering to the average. I aim for a ‘Wish I’d thought of that’ response because, when I have that reaction to another person’s work, the hair stands up on the back of my neck.
