Proposal for the Perceived Extension of Extremities, Benjamin Oliver

My main focus is exploring the possibility of new and novel sensory experiences and how we relate to such prospects.
Can we really say that we both know and understand everything about our bodies... our species? Probably not, yet somehow we seem to forget this, meaning that our everyday lives are limited to what we believe we are able to sense and perceive. Aristotle’s famous five: Smelling, Seeing, Hearing, Taste and Touch. If we experience something that does not appear to fit within this tidy little compartment, does it have to be called extra-sensory?
