Not So Perfect

During her time at the Royal College of Art Becky has produced a final collection of woven fashion fabrics, driven by spontaneous designing on and off the loom. Exploring how various material combinations interact to create textural pieces, her work often incorporates discarded and donated materials. Cut strips of waste leather, fur and fabric combined with fancy yarns are woven to form new textiles. This innovative process not only transforms waste material’s aesthetic but gives them value and worth.
