MA work

Nuclear Bliss
In examining society as it stands, trends and progressions emerge that begin to suggest possible future scenarios. The collisions between these seemingly unrelated strands of information expose exciting new realities and raise challenging design questions.

In this vision of our future, nuclear power is embraced by 'philanthrocapitalist' entrepreneurs as a solution to scarce energy supplies and rising carbon emissions, which are beginning to challenge our survival. In a convenient collaboration with the government, nuclear power reserves are created where exotic genetically modified animals are grown to soften the negative perceptions of nuclear power, whilst acting as an early warning system for any adverse eventuality.
