Ansso An is an artist, animation filmmaker, and musician. Coming from a fine art background, her practice has been widely engaging not only animation, but also sound, photography and installation. When making animation she playfully layers colour, drawings and sound with various visual mediums – often in a combination of 2D and hand drawn images. Based on experimentations and imaginative approaches, exploring human psyche by blurring between dream world and reality is her main interest in developing film language.
