Using elements from the physical world I create structures that balance between abstraction and representation. The building blocks are found in urban as well as natural environments. The works I create are not intended to describe, but to evoke.
Processes of making and constructing are specifically important, whether my work materialises as drawings, physical objects or film.
I create temporal sculptures that explore vulnerability, impermanence and processes of construction and deconstruction, and I am keen to create a dialogue between object and place.
