MA work

MA work

My work has evolved around the inspiration of change in regards to a space, an atmosphere, a piece of fabric and a point of view. My fabrics have been designed to enhance or change the experience of a viewer in a particular space.

The idea has been to challenge the perception of weave in both hand-woven and Jacquard techniques through scale, practicality, structure and process.

The combination of certain finishing processes together with the fabric construction have been significant in the way I work to create exciting and unexpected effects.
