Repetition and gesture are the poetic potentials that hold the tension of the said, and the unsayable, within a perpetual infinite space. As we humans are the animals that have language, we seek to understand. Understanding presupposes memory and the ability to speak. Where memory and speech are hindered, gesture occurs, silently. It is a crutch for thought and the incurable speech defect. The language that lies inside our bodies stutters.
