Touch Experiment Lvl. 0-6

Don't you love to be touched?

Touch Experiment Lvl. 0-6 explores how we are able to perceive and present physical objects in visual communication, and advocates that the closer we are to touching or feeling something, the more engaged we find ourselves by it and its ideas.

But what of accessibility?

Surely a picture of an object is the most accessible way of allowing wider varieties of audiences to encounter your work.

True.

Though, maybe we need to create a scale between digital and physical, between the extremely accessible and the completely engaging. In this series of works I look at how photography, film, set design, installation and performance can be used together and alone to create communications that allow us to get closer to touch, while still keeping higher levels of accessibility.
