Dia-Log
Dia-Log is a digital service that provides the patient with a written summary of what was discussed as they leave the clinic. In a typical consultation, the patient receives a large amount of emotionally loaded, complex information in a short amount of time – all communicated verbally. This results in many patients, old as well as young, leaving the clinic not remembering or misunderstanding what they have been told. Dia-Log’s short term benefit is the ability for the patient to review key information and actions necessary to be taken following an appointment, increasing their understanding and adherence to treatment. The long- term gain of keeping a Dia-Log is the accumulation of a personal medical record, allowing access to vital health information wherever they are in the world.
