Inprintu
We are surrounded by man-made objects, which have travelled around the world to be manufactured. As a result many of the objects look and feel the same regardless of where they will be used.
The digital revolution has brought with it the idea of open-source, where communities share designs and knowledge with each other. Often the most direct way to materialise these computer models is through 3D printing, completely removing the human from the equation.Â
Inprintu enables the creation of objects with digital precision while retaining human expression. It gives ceramicists a tool to redefine their relationship with digital making and allows them to explore a hybrid digital craft; while creating a tool that will help beginners improve. Inprintu turns the digital model into the sheet music and the physical making into the performance.

I have always been fascinated by how things work and how the people who designed them put so much ingenuity into making their products. This passion has pushed me towards aerospace engineering, sustainability, design and art.
As a designer I want to create experiences that make people rethink the way the world works.
