Ludo
LUDO is an innovative and completely passive system that influences how people walk. It can curate direction and speed of movement through space by manipulating human perception without the participant realising it.
By using the moiré effect, LUDO is a passive system, which is “animated” only in the mind of the users. By placing LUDO elements on the floor, the animated lines can influence the direction and speed of walking without the need of any external visual cues. Crowd management becomes intuitive.
LUDO has numerous potential applications: from revolutionising the way we navigate through crowded spaces, to completely new ways of advertisement.
