MA work

MA work

My practice is concerned with the perception and reinterpret-ation of space. I am primarily inspired by architectural spaces; they shape the reality in which we live, but can conversely operate in illusion and participate in the creation of imaginary worlds.

Across the disciplines of illustration, Set Design and Animation I highlight architectural obsolescence and failures, orchestrating conflict and tension. Reality is fractured and deconstructed, then discordantly reconfigured to create uncanny, de-functionalised structures. These absurd spatial collages set the stage for abstract narratives and unexpected encounters.
