ADS 1: The mouth of the River Lea E14

London In A Day

Global tourism has accelerated the movement of tourists and experiences to an unprecedented scale. Goods, cultures, and even buildings can now travel at equally fast speed generating a sort of fastfood culture of architectural icons. This proposal investigates such phenomena by designing a cruise terminal and market place for tourists who have only a day to visit London. Situated in the Thames Docklands, the project brings together tourists, sailors and exotic goods to produce a unique London experience.
