My photographic practice explores the constructed idea of childhood and its relationship to ‘reality’. There is a need in society to create a world of fantasy to protect the child from the adult world. My work explores how these two worlds merge and overlap in objects and spaces. The work has a self-investigational element in relation to my own questions about evolution, religion, gender and representation.
