Surface Multiples: Hiding in Plain Sight
The replication of surfaces in the built environment raise questions of authenticity and deceit in the productions of space. The fabrication of surface multiples create hyper-thin architectures of temporary constructs that mask the primacy of a buildings structure. The denial of reality transforms derelict city quarters into utopias of an imagined identity, of which it preys upon our constant states of distraction as a means to achieve psychological deception.Â
