MA work

MA work

Through my work I explore how I can use the principles of ‘Design for Disassembly’ to both challenge the life span of textile products and to create a visual design language. I create pattern through the construction of a product.

‘Packs’ is a system of base components. Each component is constructed using one material and one simple technique.

I assemble these components to build an evolving range of ‘functional three-dimensional check patterns’ or ‘packs’, that can be disassembled, reassembled and combined to be used to transport things during all kinds of travel.
