Beyond Texture
This project explores the interaction between hands and objects solely using the sense of touch. The pattern of texture can influence us unconsciously. The texture leads the hand and the hand leads the body. Different materials and ways of making texture, such as grooves, sanded or raised parts, all become ways of guiding ourselves in ways we don't expect.
It could be a new interface not only for communication for visually impaired people, but for all of us.
