A Friendly Room
A Friendly Room is a space that nurtures and preserves the tradition of the physical meeting.
It is a symbolic third space for people to occupy and meet, a space for intuitive interaction; like the notion of going to the park this space is used, adapted and occupied as its users desire.
This space exists within society's structure but wants to disrupt its order to open up to wider interpretations. It is open for anyone to use and by the means of it being a third space in society it can redefine itself in flux in its categorisation. The users create its purpose, whether that is sharing a meal with friends or attending a political meeting.
A Friendly Room has an uncanny identity. By having that character it wants serve in that same way, to encourage people to think beyond of what is expected of them.
A Friendly Room wants to provide that open-minded environment in which people can perform their person, rather than behave by what is right according to the norm.
