Major project:
Touch
Her very fine and delicate designs explore mistakes and imperfections, and how they can become part of a design. These mistakes represent scars and the idea that the memory of a trauma will persist, but that it is possible to live with it.
Ariane creates textiles that help women feel safe in their own bodies; and focuses on developing textures that awaken the sensations and emotions of happiness, serenity, self, beauty, self-esteem and empowerment.

Ariane's work investigates the link between health and designs, and has a strong purpose in helping others. She creates very fine interactive woven textiles that explore the concept of touch therapy. Her work focuses on transparency and opacity; hiding, revealing, and layering. It explores mistakes and imperfections, and how they can become part of a design.
