The world of work is changing, these days job roles are less defined, and changing careers multiple times in life is becoming more and more common. Everyday new job opportunities emerge. This may be seen as a positive thing, but for many of us it leads to insecurity, fear, and stress.
How might we embrace this uncertainty and extend the way we think about work?
What is Zenith?
Zenith can be defined as a digital version of a career coach, but it’s also a tool for personal development.
It takes you on a never-ending journey of learning about yourself, understanding the directions you want to take, discovering new possibilities, and trying them.
It’s not about reaching an end goal, such as finding a job, but more about remaining open to the idea that there’s always something you can do to improve the way you work, and shaping work around who you are.
Zenith is a companion for your working life, it encourages you to try things, to balance your work and your life, and to think differently about yourself, avoiding limited thinking and self-censorship.
It is a highly personalised service, which supports you in moments of uncertainty, but also constantly and softly challenges you to live a life you can really enjoy.

MA Service Design
I’m Francesca, and my love-hate relationship with the challenges we face today is what pushes me to reflect on what design can do to inspire positive change for the future.
During the two years I spent at the Royal College of Art, I’ve always tried to consider the impact my projects would have in the longterm, reflecting on the future world I would like to live in.
With a wonderful bunch of diverse and inspiring teammates and project partners, like Telefonica Alpha, Moovel Lab and the Centre for Public Impact, I’ve been able to develop concepts like – an AI assistant for BCIs technologies, for future users to learn how to create meaningful relationships, a revised food delivery service to redistribute surplus food instead of creating it, a bottom-up childcare system that empowers families, based on emerging ideas around shared responsibility between government and citizens; and finally, a service that encourages people to embrace change, to help them prepare for an uncertain future of work.
