Lynk&Co High-Speed Shuttle
High-Speed Shuttle is the future of public transportation. In the future, driving fast – 300km/h – is safe and legal on a separate road with autonomous driving technology and connection between cars and road. This project's target area is China, where highways are wide but traffic congestion is heavy, making work-related transport between business parks more efficient than by high-speed trains and with the benefit of high accessibility to the road infrastructure.
This project was led in cooperation with Lynk&Co and I focused on interior design, transforming a travel day into an efficient working day by rotating work stations. The chair is designed keep the user's focus nicely forward with options to work, take meetings, video calls, relax or eat. Joining the journey is like going to a group chat and your colleagues are arranged automatically to allow you to have meetings with them.

The automotive and mobility industry needs radical innovations. It seems like we think of mobility as a comfortable vehicle or pleasing interior design. But if we want people to live healthier lives, mobility needs to include walking, nature, different weather conditions, standing, stimulating our thinking or sports. So change is not just technological but also social.
Automotive design has a great heritage in surface quality standards and aesthetics that we can take and push towards totally new methods of transport for the future. As automotive or mobility designers, we need to be able to consider what habits we need to leave behind and what we are doing right.
