Major project:
This is Copper
This project then is an investigation into the material backstory of copper and the uses of those materials. Through material experimentation, working alongside labs in Belgium and mining companies, I explore the potential to use existing processes inspired from the copper industry to give a new story to these 'waste' materials.

These days I focus on material driven design. I try to avoid 'silver bullets' that presume to solve problems. Instead opting for a discrete approach, with outputs that are modest in form and suggestive of alternative futures. In a word, I like to 'tinker'.
