Show RCA 2019

Jing Lu

Show RCA work

Major project:

Re-think telecommunication in information age.

Why the development of telecommunication technology exclusively caters to the demands of message senders for speed and cost, with no regard for receiver's’ attention span?

Why do we stand by and let messaging apps maximise interruptions to win attention?

Why should messaging exacerbate our fear of missing out (FOMO) and guilt of disappointing others (GODO)?

  • Does the digital revolution truly benefit us? What are new modes of social conduct in the information age? Where is the information age leading us to?

Positioning as an information interaction innovator, Jing (Ian) Lu is dedicated to advocating positive and exciting engagement of information technologies for users.
