    ABBILD - image, copy, reflection

    Celia Fröhlich focuses her practice on political outspokenness in consumer culture and materialises it with her Controversial Commercial product line, an extreme example of consumable political messaging. 

    Inspired by meme culture and The McDonaldization of Society by George Ritzer; ironic commentary as an approachable transmitter of current affairs, as much as the dominance of the ready-made/copy-paste in consumption, became a crucial aspect of her work to successfully spread political standpoints.
