Major project:
Tracing a Memory
This is a research-based project, which aims to celecbrate the collective memory of Khobar city’s residents in Saudi Arabia during the last three decades, responding to the question: what could be designed to enable the community to trace the memory of the past represented by artefacts and spaces of cultural importance? This registration the past is crucial significantly in the current rapid and dramatic social reform happening in Saudi now. Cultural memory is "the faculty that allows us to build a narrative picture of the past and through this process develop an image and an identity for ourselves".
