Major project:

Ping is an interaction designed to facilitate discussion by introducing a listening robot whose behavior responds to the conversation dynamics around the conference meeting table. As it moves, it maps the discussion interplay on the table surface. This visualisation through the robot’s responsive behavior and the live-mapping of the conversation is intended to prompt a more equal discussion where everyone gets a voice at the table.

  • My practice sits at the intersection between people and things – the fun and the functional, design and engineering. I am passionate about investigating the role our objects play in encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitating communication, impacting behavior, and mediating interactions.
