Daisy Imogen Buckle

Show RCA work

Major project:

Natural Curiosity

An immersive installation of lit woven willow nests designed to generate curiosity and intrigue. Drawing people in and starting a dialogue about our interactions as part of the natural world.

Info

  • I am a designer working with and for nature and landscape. My work incorporates a range of techniques and materials from photography to weaving, print to glass design. I create installations, workshops and pieces that excite and engage people with places they may never have been, and may never go to, but where they now feel the need to protect. My work focusses on the beauty and tactile quality of nature and landscape. Inspired by the forms I discover while walking and exploring, documenting the found, engaging and connecting with spaces, places and things we often take for granted. While looking at and acknowledging the connections between nature, mental wellbeing and craft.
