Major project:
The Sky Is the Limit
The project is based on memories, dreams and real-time interaction.Â
The idea was to work with an archive and tell a story by mixing photography, painting, screen printing and other techniques to get a new visual language.
My story is based on the archive my dad created over a period of 30 years. An archive of a spiritual man who was looking for a solution to reach a higher consciousness. After his death, I started to 'Archive' the archive of the house.
A four-storey building on the Baltic Sea – the house is both a private apartment as well as a guest house, which is becoming increasingly depleted due to the spatial extent of accumulated objects in the storage area. You have to wire the space that is being created and that space is disappearing. The disappearance of public space and the disappearance of private spaces. This disappearance creates a new form of space. Using an archive of objects and memories that will outlive its lifetime. Life and death, future and past: in the project I'm dealing with the existential limits of human existence through the material delimitation of conserved life. The focus is on a person – father figure and archivist.

Memories, space and deconstruction are recurring themes in my practice. I'm combining architectural and photographic elements.
