Sculptural and multimedia based work.
I view my practice as a social and personal narrative around the themes of identity, ancestral memories, alienation and the fragility of life. It’s inspired by images, events and ideas that have a resonance – not only personal but also a universal one. Recent work has been informed by environmental, identity politics and migration issues. I make my observations via sculpture, ceramics, print and film, and the people, objects and creatures that inhabit the universe of my practice are both figurative and indeterminate.
