Major project:
Optic Blast
The wall hangings are screen printed and were produced during a residency taken earlier in the year at Sagacity in Brussels. The framed prints were a further development of the approach taken in Brussels, this time incorporating an offset lithographic process as well.

The practical process of traditional printmaking techniques and the organic qualities of process-led work is important to my print practice. With my interest in these techniques, I also embrace the relationship between digital and traditional ways of working with print. During my MA I have explored how manipulating digital images can be carried through to screen printing and lithographic monotypes. Working with digital images has allowed me to abundantly explore pattern manipulation. Recently my practice has incorporated printing on fabrics which have introduced a new sense of materiality, scale and presence within a space.
